About the Lawyers
Kevin Chou
Kevin Chou is a Partner with Egan Nelson in Seattle. He is a business and technology-focused lawyer with over 20 years experience in complex corporate and commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing, Internet law, start-up counseling, and private equity and venture capital financings.
Prior to joining EN, Kevin founded his own firm counseling start-up clients, served as Senior Counsel for Amazon, served as General Counsel for Glu Mobile, and served as head of legal of several other technology and media companies. He was also an associate at Fenwick & West in Silicon Valley and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco.
Kevin earned his B.A. in Economics from Berkeley in 1993 and J.D. from Yale Law School in 1996.

Eric Adler
Eric Adler is an attorney at Egan Nelson in Seattle. He helps tech startups and consumer products companies with corporate and intellectual property matters. Eric has taught at the Brooklyn Law School Incubator and Policy Clinic, where his students defended startups against patent trolls in live litigation.
Eric registered the copyright for the original Cryptopunks NFTs. He represents Outlier Clothing, including in successful appeals to the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Eric secured the RedAntler trademark registration in a successful trademark appeal, and he has cleared and registered trademarks for fast growing technology brands such as Digital Ocean and CPG brands such as PetHonesty.
Eric earned his B.S.M.E. from Tufts in 2004 and J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008.
